Long ago, there were these two guys...
Best of friends they was...they loved their sport of football..
And at end of every april...months after the super bowl, and the pro bowl...
The two friends would get together and have a feast and celebrate as their teams drafted potential superstars for their suporting franchise...
Years went by, and it became a special holiday of sorts...
But now...things have changed.
One friend got older, and developed more reponsibilities...
A family, a job, a mortage...and soon, his friend didn't mean that much to him anymore...
One year went by when the hoiliday was missed.
Then another, then another, and then one year...
The one friend watched the NFL Draft all alone...and realized...it was never going to be the same again...
and he sighed to himself...
"For the 14th Pick of the 2006 NFL Draft, The Phillidealphia Eagles select..."
