Wasting time with Jet

I know it's been awhile and ya'll probably thought I'm blindfolded, nekkid and tied up somewhere in Ghana after falling for that mysterious chick.

Ya'll couldn't farther from the truth.

Things are getting VERY interesting in that story arc that is my Soap Opera of a Life...time will tell REAAAAL soon on whether or not this girl is the real deal.

JOE called, out of the blue Sunday telling us about a Sofabed he left at his house in Long Island.

With his place still on the Market, a deadline has been set before they empty out what furniture was left behind to make the place bare and new. MOM seemed skeptical but intrested nonetheless because the living room is so empty (yet cluttered) with just a dining room table and a TV wall unit.

So the adventure is on to find our semi-usual handyperson ELVIS, rent a U-Haul and figure out how to get the damn thing from LI.

BEEN taking in some new music lately...

Everything from The WHO, to Lady Sovereign from the UK, to Jay-Z's new comeback album...and even the upcoming sophomore entry by Gwen Stefani.

*"Anything" by Jay-Z f/ Usher and Pharell (Nice calypso type beat, catchy hook, probably to good for the radio!)

*"Beach Chair" by Jay-Z f/ Chris Martin from Coldplay(?) (Jigga always knew how to send an album off...one of his best songs since "What more can I say" Hova reflects how "Life is just a Beach Chair..."

*"Wind it Up" by Gwen Stefani (This is the first single from the new album, it'll grow on ya faster than "Promiscuous" and "London Bridge" and may even make you yodel, too...)

*"Now that you Got It" (Swizz Beatz hooks Gwen up with a Killer beat, best song on the new album, DO a remix with EVE or DMX!)

*"The Sweet Escape" Gwen f/ Akon (This jus SCREAMS "Summer Time", the title track of the new album, very bouncy.)

*"U Started It" (Remember "Cool"?...this is "Cool" part 2, nice smooth track, probably a hidden message in there about her past, who knows?...great song)

*"Don't get it Twisted" (Gwen goes to the circus with a hand clapping, calliope tune, send in the clowns!)

Gwen is gonna have 2007 on lock if she plays her cards right.
